For the German TV channels WELT and N24 I have translated and edited several documentaries. I directed the voice recordings with German-language actors such as Norbert Langer (the German voice of Magnum), Matti Klemm (Jason Momoa) and Peter Lontzek (Tom Hiddleston).

The documentaries aired between 2022 and 2024 and were also included in the WELT Mediathek where some of them are still available to watch. A complete list of these German-language documentaries I worked on can be found below.

Bloodshed in Bakhmut

The eastern Ukrainian city of Bakhmut was the scene of the largest and most costly battle of the war so far. For more than ten months, the city was under the bombardment of Russian troops, until it fell in May 2023 despite the fierce resistance of the Ukrainians. The documentary follows three young soldiers a few months before the fall of Bakhmut: Vadim Adamov, Mykhailo Alekseenko, and Yuriy Samanyuk. Only one of the three men will survive the second year of the Russian assault on Ukraine.

In his documentary "TRUMP - The Great Comeback?" WELT TV Editor-in-Chief Jan Philipp Burgard reports from the conservative South of the USA. In South Carolina, he meets supporters of the former and possibly future US president - and provides deep insights into their mindset.
