Content for “Europäische FilmPhilharmonie”

This summer, I was asked by the Europäische FilmPilharmonie to pen articles for their new homepage, which has now been unveiled.

My task consisted of researching the work of the organisation, interviewing its members, and penning over three dozen articles in both German and English, detailing how they work and what makes them special.

Working for the Europäische FilmPhilharmonie has been a special delight since I was familiar with their projects for a long time, and remembered fondly the experiences I had watching their live-to-screen performances of classic film scores such as Gottfried Huppertz’ Metropolis.

Because this is what the Europäische FilmPhhilharmonie does - or at least it’s a part of what she does. Their mission is to bring film music to new audiences, to curate concerts and perform soundtracks live to screen with the best orchestras around.
